Created in conjunction with Stephen Winters’s solo exhibition, The Animal I Forgot I Was, this limited-edition vinyl record brings the exhibition’s visual and sonic elements together in a single artist-designed object.
The album features 40 minutes of original ambient music composed by Winters in direct correlation with the exhibition. Intentional and immersive, the soundscape extends the artist’s exploration of observation, interconnectedness, and the boundary between human and nonhuman life.
Winters’s original artwork appears on both the vinyl record and its bi-fold sleeve, making the album a visual and sonic extension of the exhibition.
This is Winters’s first release of original music and is limited to an edition of 50. A portion of the proceeds will help support The Okihi Project.
Each album purchase includes one ticket to the closing sound bath with Stephen Winters, a $30 value.*
